specifically the action of acetylcholine on structures innervated by postganglionic cholinergic nerves and on smooth muscle

that respond to acetylcholine but lack cholinergic innervation. Hyoscyamine sulfate is absorbed completely by oral

administration and distributed throughout the entire body with half-life 2-3.5 hour then the majority of it excreted

unchanged in the urine within 12 hours.
