Description
Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) is a fat-soluble vitamin that is better absorbed in the body when taken with fatty foods. It is one of the most absorbable forms of Vitamin D compared to other forms such as Vitamin D2. Vitamin D3 is essential for bone and dental health, especially for children and individuals who do not get enough sun exposure or do not consume foods containing Vitamin D. It helps boost the immune system against infectious diseases and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, and contributes to the prevention of several chronic diseases. Vitamin D3 also helps maintain calcium and phosphorus levels in the blood, which are necessary for bone building, nerve, and muscle function. It is also used to repair damaged skin and promote hair growth.
