Nysta-Drop

Each 1 ml contains: Nystatin 100,000 IU.

📌 DESCRIPTION

Nysta-Drop (Nystatin) is an antifungal produced by the growth of certain strains of Streptomyces noursei, and it is active against a wide range of yeasts and fungi, including Candida albicans. It binds to ergosterol, a major component of the fungal cell membrane, and forms pores in the membrane that lead to K⁺ leakage, acidification and death of the fungus. Nysta-Drop is not absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract, skin or vagina, so it is used topically.
