Composition

Babyderm Ointment

Contains: Zinc Oxide, Nystatin

DESCRIPTION

Babyderm ointment is used to treat diaper rash (infections resulting from the use of diapers), superficial wounds, and other minor skin irritations. It contains zinc oxide, which acts as a soothing and protective agent, and Nystatin, a potent antifungal agent effective against various yeast infections. Nystatin works by binding to fungal cells, altering their permeability, and causing leakage of essential fungal components. The inclusion of Olive Oil in Babyderm’s formula adds emollient and protective properties.

Babyderm ointment also forms a protective coating over the skin or mucous membranes, reducing irritation and relieving associated symptoms such as burning, pain, or itching. It helps prevent diaper rash, soothes chafed skin, and protects against other irritants.
